Preschool and Kindergarten Director (Pastor)

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITON 

To minister to the children of Super Jammer (Preschool and Kindergarten), leading them to spiritual commitments and disciplines that will result in spiritual maturity. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A vital personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. A call to pastoral ministry from God.
  3. Spiritual gifts relevant to the position of ministry.
  4. Committed to teamwork with the pastoral staff.
  5. Committed to the ministry philosophy and programs of the church.

STAFF STRUCTURE AND RELATIONSHIPS 

  1. Schedule –  Maintain a 20-hour work on or outside of church premise. (Fridays 5:30pm-9:30pm, Tuesdays or Saturdays half a day, Sundays 8:00am-5:00pm)
  2. Submit weekly ministry report to the Supervising Pastor.
  3. Accountable directly to the Supervising Pastor.
  4. Cooperate fully with church leaders for the good of the church.
  5. Work closely as a team-player with Education Pastoral Team

* All staff are to be available to help where needed for the cause of Christ and the advancement of His Church.  A servant attitude is part of all staff performance plans.

GENERAL MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To oversee and coordinate all aspects of the ministry.
  2. To oversee all administration responsibilities
  3. To faithfully attend church services (Korean Ministry or English Ministry) and church wide activities.
  4. To secure and maintain prayer partners and accountability team.
  5. To be the primary preacher/teacher for one of the elementary departments.
  6. Pray for the students, staff and parents of the KidzWinC ministries.
  7. Participate in the weekly staff meetings.
  8. Attend and participate in all of the ministry related activities.
  9. Organize and update the directory on a weekly basis.
  10. Make visitations for students as needed.

CONNECTING WITH LEADERS

  1. Recruit teachers to support all KidzWinC departments.
  2. Train teachers how to minister to children for life changing impact.
  3. Provide ongoing training and equipping for teachers.

CONNECTING WITH PARENTS

  1. Pray for the parents of the children.
  2. Involve parents in activities.
  3. Create special ministry specific to parents of children.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

*  This area can be developed according to individual interest and giftedness.

  1. To assist in worship services and special events as needed.
  2. To offer counseling and referral as requested.
