Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church is seeking a full time pastor to oversee the high school department, which includes weekly preaching, discipleship of students and teachers, leading and managing programs, administration, etc.
We are located in Ellicott City, Maryland, a suburb between Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C. Currently Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church has an adult congregation of over 1,200 members, with approximately 400 students from preschool through high school.
We are a community of believers who seek to above all else proclaim Christ and make him known in our homes, schools, and workplaces. We are students, professionals, evangelists, and servants. Most of all, we are broken sinners who are in constant need of the Gospel. We believe community is an essential part of our ministry. We actively strive to be a loving, caring, and welcoming community. However, we also believe that the glory of God through missions is the end goal of all Christian ministry. Hence, we believe that all the benefits of being a part of God’s covenant community comes as a natural result from being obedient to our calling as believers on mission.
Must meet the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Have completed his M.Div. or be close to completing his degree from an accredited seminary.
Has 3 years minimum of ministry experience.
Be committed to Reformed Theology and the system of doctrine set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Be relational, evangelistic, vulnerable, passionate, and discerning.
Have a passion for the youth ministry.
Must be fluent in English, partial ability in Korean a plus.
