He will assist the senior pastor, session and church with administrative needs. He will also possess a passionate heart to lead collegiate students to loving Christ and loving people.

About the Church: Charis Mission Church (CMC) began as the English Ministry of Choong Hyun Mission Church (CHMC), a Korean Immigrant Church located in Glendale, CA. In March of 2018, CMC became an independent church. This independence was mutual and beneficial to both CMC and CHMC. Both churches exist and worship on the same campus. They are independent, but simultaneously dependent upon each other, especially when it comes to educating the next generation (infants – high school) in Christ. This means specifically that we share the budget, staff, volunteers and children/students of the Education Department with our Korean speaking brothers and sisters in Christ.

This is a special time in the life of the church as it is still in its infancy stages. The church is free to govern itself and grow as it begins to form an identity of its own. In other words, the possibilities of ministry opportunities are endless. The church has only begun to grow and minister in the Los Angeles/Glendale area.

Charis Mission Church exists to build a community of grace. We believe that the church is a family of believers who have received grace from our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the cross of Christ, we believe that we have received the gift of salvation. In turn, we live grace-filled lives in the way we love and treat those in our church, in the city of Glendale, and beyond.
