The First Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando (the “Church”) has over 100 registered adult members, about 10 children in the Sunday school, 20 youths and young adults in the English Ministry group (“EM”) and approximately 30-40 snowbirds who attend during the winter months. The Church was established 25 years ago based on Westminster Confession of Faith, Larger and Shorter Catechisms (1647) and the Church was originally affiliated with the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (“KPCA”). We are now an independent church that is governed by a Session, composed of minister(s) and ruling elder(s). The Session administers the affairs and discipline of the church. The Congregation approves or disapproves the session’s recommendations such as extending calls to ministers and church budgets. We are one of the few Korean churches in Orlando area that offers English translation during the main Korean Ministry Sunday service. On any typical Sunday, we have 11 A.M. main service, followed by fellowship over lunch. Currently, the English service is held at 12:30 P.M. at the main sanctuary. Our church members vary from professionals, business owners, students, and others alike who love serving the Lord. Our church is involved with missionary works and is currently supporting several missionaries overseas. The First Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando is looking forward to grow. We are committed to serving the Lord through community outreach, prayer, fellowship, and growing our English Speaking youth/young adult group.
