The Korean Presbyterian Church of Metro Detroit (KPCMD) is seeking a full-time Sr. High/College Pastor to minister to the 9-12th grade students of KPCMD, and to help develop a growing college group.

We are seeking a pastor who will love our students where they are, encourage them to develop and nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, provide them with opportunities for spiritual growth, and challenge them to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities and the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Help plan, develop, and implement all aspects of a balanced ministry in the areas of worship, discipleship, mission, fellowship, and outreach.
  • Oversee all Sr. High/college ministry worship and programs, including: lead and preach Sunday worship service, Friday Night Fellowship, mission trip planning and training, Summer Camp, leadership training, seasonal activities

Qualifications:

  • Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary
  • Ordained or candidate for ordination
  • Ministry experience with 2nd generation Korean-Americans preferred but not required
  • Fluent in English
