Leadership: Under the supervision of the Lead Pastor, the Pastor works with the Christian Education Board to provide leadership and direction to the parents and volunteers of the Education Department. The Pastor will execute the vision of the Christian Education ministry by delegating responsibilities and managing volunteers, actively recruiting and training volunteers, regularly communicating ministry developments to parents, teachers, and leadership, and coordinating special children’s events throughout the year.
Teaching: Prepare and deliver Sunday messages tailored to each respective group within NCF’s Children’s Ministry (Toddlers/Elementary) and manage Sunday worship with our children. In addition, pick and adjust the curriculum for volunteers to use for children’s Bible study.
Equipping: Provide opportunities to educate and equip parents on living out biblical marriage and parenting principles.
Shepherding: Actively shepherd the children under their care and seek to cultivate genuine relationships with them and their respective parents.
Administration/Management: Supervise the overall operation of the Christian Education ministry by overseeing and working jointly with ministry team leaders to prepare curriculum, schedule volunteers, and facilitate meetings with teachers and parents.
Youth group: Pastor will oversee and mentor the Youth Pastor who will be responsible for the management and shepherding of youth programs and classes.
