Korean-American Ministry Resources

Education Pastor/Coordinator

Search for Education Pastor (Part-time/Full-time)

SeMeHahn is a Korean-American church that is a part of the Korean Presbyterian Church in America (Kosin) and is located in Laytonsville, Maryland. Our membership includes 90+ Korean Ministry adults, 25+ English Ministry adults, and 20 children. Currently, we have a group of kindergarten-aged to high school-aged children who are in need of a gospel-centered, fun-loving, and caring, shepherd leader.

We are prayerfully seeking a part-time or full-time Education Ministry Pastor who will help shepherd and grow an intergenerational congregation.

The Education Ministry Pastor will mainly work, but not exclusively, with children who are in elementary school to high school.

This position is a great opportunity for those who are creative and like to implement fun programs for school-aged children, as well as develop skills to build relationships with the parents of the church. This position allows you to work closely with the English Ministry pastor and grow in other disciplines necessary for pastoral ministry.

We are seeking a shepherd leader, who is Reformed in theology and understands that the gospel is not about behavioral change but a heart change. We are seeking a person who is passionate about intergenerational ministry and who will help coordinate activities for the school-aged children, oversee the Sunday school classes, coordinate various events throughout the year, and help develop adult volunteer teachers.

The salary will be commensurate with experience.
