Overview & Position

Cerritos Presbyterian Church (KAPC denomination) in Artesia, CA, is currently looking to hire a
part-time director or pastor for our preschool ministry.
We are looking for someone who has a big heart for children and their families. Someone who
loves Jesus and seeks to partner with families in the spiritual growth of their children.

Responsibilities include:
● Oversee and provide pastoral care to infants ranging from 2 to 4 years old and their
parents
● Prepare and lead weekly Sunday Worships at 9:15 AM and 11 AM.
● Train and provide materials for a team of teachers to lead Bible Study for each services
● Oversee annual events such as Vacation Bible School in the Summer and Heavenly Night
in the fall.

Qualifications
● A background in Christian education or a related field, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
● Preferably Bilingual in Korean and English, but is not required
● Has a basic understanding of Reformed theology and is willing to teach from the
Reformed Presbyterian tradition.
