Flower Mound Korean Church (SBC), located in Flower Mound TX (northwest of Dallas TX), is seeking a part-worship pastor who will be able to lead weekly praise for the Sunday worship, and also lead the Young Adult/College group. Good Shepherd Ministry is the English Ministry of Flower Mound Korean Church with a weekly Sunday worship attendance of 40-50.

Specific Requirements/Responsibilities Include:
– weekly Saturday praise team practice (2 hours)
– help direct and lead weekly Sunday worship service (5 hours)
– lead College/Young Adult Bible Study/Events (alternating Saturdays (bimonthly/3 hours) and Sundays (bimonthly/1 hour (included in the Sunday hours) throughout the year)
– monthly Korean Ministry Staff meetings (3 hours)
– monthly English Ministry Leadership meetings (2 hours)
– help plan 2 retreats yearly
– help direct and lead early morning week services (bi-annual/2 hours per service)
– help direct and lead revival services (annual/2 hours)
– help direct and lead (if necessary) Korean Ministry/English Ministry joint services (Church Anniversary/Good Friday/Resurrection Sunday/Thanksgiving/Christmas)
– help plan and direct events which include outdoor services (biannual) and other events such as national holidays (Crawfish Boil/July 4th Party/Thanksgiving Potluck/Christmas Party)
– must be able to proficiently speak and understand English
– understanding/speaking Korean is a plus but not required
– no office hours

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience, between $1200-1500 monthly with a possibility of scholarships if currently attending a seminary.
There is also a possibility of this part-time becoming a full-time position if the candidate, after serving faithfully, is found to be a great fit with the congregation.
