Holliston United Methodist Church (Pasadena, CA) is searching for a part-time English-speaking pastor to shepherd our youth ministry (7th-12th grade).  We are church made up of KM congregation (Dream Church) and EM congregation (Community Church at Holliston) with a joint Education Ministry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Born again Christian having a demonstrative relationship with Jesus Christ
* Primary gifts in preaching, teaching, and pastoral care to youth (middle and high school)
* Currently enrolled in or completed MDiv/MA program at accredited seminary
* Firmly holds to Biblical worldview while still open to discussions/debates
* Teamwork and collaborative leadership style
* Open to understanding Korean culture and its impact on our youth

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Preaching – Sunday worship
* Teaching – Friday Bible study, baptism/confirmation classes, etc.

* Pastoral care – counseling, discipling students
* Plan/coordinate events (i.e., fellowship events, winter and summer retreats, outreach events, etc)
* Work cooperatively with other staff members/pastors and youth ministry teachers
* Maintain regular communication with parents
