Who are we?
Kansas Mission Church (KMC) is a theologically conservative, evangelical non-denominational church in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. We are a Korean-American English-language ministry (EM) which is separately governed, with its own operating budget, acting as a co-ministry partner with the Korean-language ministry (KM).

Qualifications:
A life consistent with the Biblical qualifications of a shepherding elder found in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5
Above reproach and seeks personal holiness
Manages his own household (good husband and father)
Able to teach and defend sound doctrine
Self-controlled, respectable, hospitable
Assent to Our Vision and Beliefs – Kansas Mission Church
Formal theological education required (Bible college or seminary degree)
Ordination (or pursuant) in a conservative evangelical denomination
Previous ministry experience preferred especially in a Korean-American context
Responsibilities:
The associate pastor will be under the supervision of the English Ministry (EM) elders and lead pastor. He will assist in Sunday preaching, shepherding and administrative duties. He will be expected to hold office hours onsite during weekdays, attend staff meetings, and be present at church events, functions, and special services.
The associate pastor will directly oversee all ministry aspects of the Youth Ministry (6th-12th grade)- including teaching, planning, discipleship, mentoring, counseling, event coordinating, and outreach. He will oversee a team of teachers and volunteers, and work with pastors and parents of both congregations. He will lead Saturday evening youth Bible study. During special annual events and activities (such as retreats) he will be expected to spend more time as the event calls for.
The associate pastor will also support and supervise the Children’s and Young Adult Ministries. He will provide pastoral care throughout the week, attend meetings as necessary and devote time to the training and discipleship of lay leadership.
