he Korean Church of Atlanta United Methodist Church (“KCA”) is a Christ-Centered, People-Oriented church that exists to glorify God by sharing our lives with others so that everyone will find hope-filled life in Christ. KCA is a Korean-American church located in Duluth, Georgia and is one of the largest Korean-American churches in Georgia with a 50+ year history. Congregation exceeds 750+ members with a next generation ministry comprised of ~60 Sunday school children and ~50 youth group. This number exceeded 350 in total pre-Covid. We are seeking an energetic Children’s Pastor (“Pastor”) who is passionate about sharing their love of Jesus Christ with Sunday school families and children up to 5th grade. The Pastor will be an integral part of KCA’s NextGen ministry and will work closely with the Lead NextGen Pastor to develop and lead all aspects of Sunday school including programing, volunteers, and events. The Pastor should have strong leadership abilities, team work skills, and be able to connect readily and easily in developing relationships with children and their families. The Pastor will creatively and passionately encourage children to grow in their faith and in biblical understanding with their God-given purpose.

Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education, Ministry, or a related field preferred or actively in the process of obtaining a degree

Graduate of an accredited seminary (Graduating candidates will be considered)

Bilingual – Korean and English (preferred but not required)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in children’s and/or youth ministry or similar qualifying work experience

Leadership skills necessary to administer Children’s ministry and be able to preach during worship service

Effective communications skills with volunteer Sunday school teachers, parents, and children

Proficient with media and digital competencies

Love children and believe in fostering the next generation

Compensation package includes $37,500 – $45,000 per year salary and other benefits and allowances to be discussed
