Salary: $1200/month

About NYPC EM:

As the English Ministry of New York Presbyterian Church, we have been blessed to serve alongside the Korean Ministry and All Nations Ministry (comprising Nepalese, Mongolian, Spanish, Chinese Ministries) to form New York Presbyterian Church. Our EM numbers around 70+ in weekly attendance, comprised of college students through married with children. We are Reformed and adhere to the Westminster Confession of Faith.

About the Position:

We are seeking to hire a Praise Team Leader/Pastor who will lead our weekly 10am Sunday praise, lead the praise team in necessary practices, as well as be in charge of their spiritual training as it relates to the praise team. Non-weekly responsibility expectations would be any time there is an event such as praise and prayer nights or retreats, they would be in charge of leading praise. In the rhythms of church life, anything that has to do with praise, the Praise Team Leader would be the person in charge.

Qualifications:

• Must be a mature believer of Jesus Christ
• Must be gifted in musical talent, able to sing and play an instrument that can lead praise
• Must attend NYPC as a member and not attend any other churches
• Preferred Reformed in theology but if not, be willing to submit to the teachings of the church found in the Westminster Confession of Faith
• Preferred at least 3+ years of experience leading a Praise Team
