Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time pastor to lead our English Ministry. The ideal candidate will be a relational leader with a heart for discipleship and a passion for preaching and teaching. This role involves shepherding a diverse, multi-generational congregation and guiding them in their spiritual growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Preaching and Teaching:
Deliver Sunday sermons and develop sermon series aligned with the church’s vision.
Lead weekly Bible studies and provide spiritual guidance.
Oversee discipleship programs, focusing on nurturing and developing lay leaders.
Leadership and Administration:
Collaborate with church leadership to define and implement the church’s strategic goals.
Supervise and coordinate ministry activities, including small groups, retreats, and community outreach.
Participate in and contribute to church meetings and planning sessions (including KM participation)
Community Engagement:
Foster a welcoming environment that encourages active participation in church life.
Lead and support local outreach initiatives and community service projects.
Engage with various life-stage ministries, including youth and family groups.
Candidate Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited theological seminary.
Minimum of 3-5 years of pastoral experience.
Strong relationship with God and a commitment to Christian faith.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in administrative tasks and familiar with modern office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ordained Minister (Preferred)
Compensation:
Salary + Allowance range: $50,000 to $80,000 annually, based on experience.
