Youth Ministry Full Time Pastor (Grades 9th through 12th)

Young Nak Church of Los Angeles, presbyterian denominational church, is actively searching for the full-time youth minister to shepherd and teach our youth, ninth through twelfth. We are a multi- generational of 3000+ with a strong foundation of nearly 50 years of ministry.  Our loving, motivated, and compassionate congregation needs a dynamic visionary individual to lead the children.

Job Description: Duties and responsibilities

Maintain a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
Partner with parents and teachers ensuring regular communication and resources
Proactively meet with students to encourage and pray with them
Prepare, present and available for Sunday Worship
Be present and available for Friday Bible Study
Plan and present at discipleship groups or other events as requested by the Director of the Education Department
Develop and direct programs for special events as needed
Share these changes with the parents to assist them in better understanding their children and the culture they live in
Attend and participate in staff meetings working cooperatively with all other staff members at Education Department
Direct Retreat Camp (summer overnight camp experience)
Eligibility:

Graduate from a regular seminary school

Has affection and passion for the ministry of youth (9th through 12th)

Fluent in English;

Able to communicate in Korean

Has no reasons for disqualification from employment

Compensation:

Salary – Depending on Education and Experience
